Penny Stood in the Rain (420-character story)

Penny stood in the rain, all of her troubles washing away with the droplets of water. Her troublesome day had finally came to an end. She'll no longer have to deal with this horrible man. He was gone from her life permanently, she insured it. Tears, water, and blood slipped down her body, collecting at her feet. It swirled together and she smiled, bitterly. She crouched down and held her head. He's gone, she's free.
